Justin Bieber wants to star in a remake of 'Grease'.

The 16-year-old singer admits he would love to play Danny Zuko - originally made famous by John Travolta in the 1978 movie - in a remake of the film, alongside 17-year-old Miley Cyrus.

He said: "It would be a lot of fun. It's been talked about a lot over the years but it would be awesome to play Danny."

Asked who he would like to play Danny's love interest Sandy - formerly played by Olivia Newton John - he said: "I would go for Miley Cyrus without hesitation. She can sing, dance and act."

Justin also admits he would love to get Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle on board to play a role in the film.

According to The Sun newspaper, he said: "I'd want some great people to star in it. Wouldn't Susan Boyle make an amazing Principal McGee? We'd just need to write it into The Script that she broke into song.

"I am obsessed with Susan. When I look at her original audition it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up."

Although currently only known for his singing talents, Justin will soon portray himself in an upcoming biopic about his life due for release in February 2011.
