Johnny Depp has scored himself an open invitation to join Alice Cooper's band on the road after wowing fans by sitting in on a show at London's 100 Club.
The movie star hit the stage to play Eighteen and School's Out with Cooper and his group in June (11) and the rock star offered him a semi-permanent role in the band there and then.
Cooper tells Revolver magazine, "We called him Johnny D from Kentucky. It was great, he has his own guitar tech (technician) and his own $10,000 custom rig.
"We kept it (his appearance) a good secret... People thought it was going to be Slash or (Jon) Bon Jovi, because they were both in town. Slowly but surely as we played, the girls in the front row started recognising who he was and freaking out.
"He's a serious guitar player. He even keeps his guitar tech on the set of his movies, and I'm sure, if he had eight weeks to spare, I think he would gladly tour with us... He was that good."
