Hollywood heart-throb Johnny Depp plans to always stay in touch with his inner child, after portraying Peter Pan author JM BARRIE in FINDING Neverland.

The actor believes it's vital people hold onto the wonder which children view the world with, otherwise it's easy for adults to slip into a cynical state of mind which will ultimately lead to misery.

The 41-year-old says, "Of course, the notion is beautiful; the idea of staying a boy or a child forever. But I think you really can.

"I've known plenty of people in their later years that were like little kids, had the energy of little children, the curiosity and fascination. I think we can keep that. It's important we keep that."
