Film bosses have been forced to withdraw posters promoting Johnny Depp's new movie SWEENEY TODD because of major historical inaccuracies. In the poster, leading actor Depp sits in front of a large skylight with famous London landmark Big Ben clearly visible in the background. But the Tim Burton movie is based in the early 19th century - 15 years before the clocktower was built. And after complaints from angry movie fans, studio bosses decided to scrap the posters and have a new version rushed into production to publicise the film's release later this month (Dec07).
