Bon Jovi Relates To Gangster Tv Series
Rocker Jon Bon Jovi is reminded of his own childhood when watching Mafia drama The Sopranos because he relates to the characters' shifty behaviour. The singer/songwriter, who grew up in a working-class area of New Jersey, learned to keep his personal affairs close to his chest - which came in handy when he became a rock superstar keen to avoid negative press. He says, "Have you ever seen The Sopranos? Well, that is the kind of neighbourhood where I grew up. That is exactly what my life was like. "You learn that you just don't air your dirty laundry in public. It's like, 'fuggetaboudit,' you know? It's better to keep my secrets secret."
