The Jonas Brothers refused to make a big fuss of a December (11) song leak which had fans anticipating new music from the trio - because the feedback was so positive.
Rather than release a statement declaring the tune, Dance Until Tomorrow, was an unofficial release the siblings stayed silent and allowed fans to enjoy the two-year-old track, which missed the cut for the band's last album.
Nick Jonas explains, "We still love the song and we actually had some other artists express interest in recording it.
"The song somehow leaked and the fans responded really positively to it... and we kinda felt like, '(There's) no need to go out there and say it's a leak or anything like that because it's music that they're liking... let's put it out there."
During a chat with Los Angeles DJ Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday (24Jan12), Jonas revealed he and his brothers plan to work on new music together later this year (12), with a view to having their first new material in three years released by the end of 2012 or beginning of 2013.
