Irish actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers will not face charges following his arrest in connection with a fight in Dublin, Ireland last month (18Nov07). The Mission: Impossible III star was facing charges of public drunkenness and breach of the peace over a row at Dublin Airport, when he allegedly clashed with staff who claimed he was too intoxicated to travel. But the case was dropped at Dublin District Court on Wednesday (05Dec07), meaning the 30-year-old will not be prosecuted over the incident - which came just two days before the death of his mother. His lawyer, Michael Staines, told the court his client's behaviour was "unacceptable and out of character" and the actor has offered to make a donation to charity as a gesture of goodwill.
