The mother of Irish movie star Jonathan Rhys Meyers died on Tuesday (20Nov07) - just days after the actor's drunken outburst at Dublin Airport. The death of Geraldine Meyers-O'Keeffe, 51, at the Mercy University Hospital, Ireland was confirmed by Meyers' publicist on Wednesday (21Nov07). The family refused to comment further, but it is believed she succumbed to a stroke. The news comes days after the Mission Impossible 3 star was involved in a drunken clash with airport staff at Dublin airport after he was told he was "unfit to travel". Rhys Meyers remains on bail following his Sunday (19Nov07) arrest, and is due to appear in Dublin District Court next month (Dec07).
