The hype surrounding Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight Rises' is beginning to intensify, after reports suggested the movie's first official trailer will hit cinemas alongside 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2' on Friday (15th July 2011).

According to Superherohype.com, a "trustworthy source" has confirmed the teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises will debut in 3D, 2D and IMAX theatres immediately before the final Potter movie. The trailer is 1 minute 33 seconds long and was recently approved and classified to begin screening in cinemas. The first trailer for Guy Ritchie's 'Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows' is also expected to accompany the Dark Knight Rises clip, as is a trailer for 'Happy Feet Two'. Nolan's third and final Batman movie once again stars Christian Bale as the Caped Crusader, while Michael Caine and Gary Oldman also reprise their roles from the acclaimed 'The Dark Knight'. Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard are just some of the new additions to the cast.

News of the trailer comes after an official poster for the movie began circulating online. The image features the skyscrapers of Gotham City crumbling away to leave an outline of the bat symbol in the sky.
