Josh Groban pulled out of an appearance on Jenny McCarthy's new weekly chat show because his aides felt the programme was too racy for him.

The opera singer was billed as one of the model/actress' first guests, but he didn't stick around for the interview.

MCCarthy says, "He did show up... (but) the go-go dancers, they (his aides) took a look at, and thought (they) were a little too sexy... Five minutes before my first show taping his team removed him."

The former Playboy pin-up accepts her show might be a little too much for some straight-laced stars, but she has no intention of playing down the sex factor on late-night Tv.

She tells U.S. news show Access Hollywood Live, "I felt like I wanted to bring some sexy girls like you'd see in a nightclub; my show is very much like a nightclub - there's a bartender and a Dj... (They're) dressed the same as you see in Vegas, kinda cabaret style."
