Joss Stone, the British soul-star who appears to have been the intended victim of a murder plot, says she is "getting on with life" after two suspects were arrested close to her home. Joss Stone reassured fans she was "absolutely fine" after two men from Manchester were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to rob and murder, according to the UK's Daily Mirror.
Police said the men, aged 30 and 33, were arrested in the Cullompton area of Devon at around 10am on Monday (13th June 2011). The pair were found to be carrying swords, plans of the singer's house and a body bag. It is not clear whether Stone was at home at the time but she reassured fans, saying, "I'd like to thank everyone for their concern but I'm absolutely fine and getting on with life as normal while the police continue with their enquiries". Police officers stood guard outside the singer's house, situated in a rural farming area, for several hours on Monday. A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said officers were initially called to the address after local residents notified them of a suspicious-looking vehicle.
Joss Stone rose to fame with her 2003 hits 'Super Duper Love' and 'Fell In Love With A Boy'. After finding huge success in the US, she is said to be worth around $18 million.
