A man accused of conspiring to murder British singer Joss Stone has appeared in court to deny the charge.
Kevin Liverpool, 34, appeared at Exeter Crown Court in England on Monday (24Oct11) and pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to murder, conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm (Gbh) and conspiracy to commit robbery.
Junior Bradshaw, 31, also appeared in court charged with conspiring to harm and rob the singer, but did not enter a plea.
The two men, both from Manchester, England, were arrested in June (11) close to the singer's home in Devon after they were allegedly seen behaving strangely in a nearby village.
The case was adjourned until December (11) and both men were remanded in custody ahead of a trial set for 6 August next year (12).
Stone was not in court for the hearing, but her mother Wendy was seated in the public gallery.
