Jourdan Dunn thinks Londoners have the best style.

The glamorous supermodel - who hails from Greenford in west London - feels inspired when she walks down the streets of the British capital because she feels her fellow hometown fashion lovers have creative and unique tastes.

She said: ''The city with the most inspiring style is London. I've never been anywhere that matches the diversity and energy of the way people dress here.''

The 23-year-old beauty shot to fame in 2008 and has modelled for Calvin Klein, Victoria's Secret and Saint Laurent, but she says one of her most treasured moments was posing in an all-black issue of Vogue Italia.

Asked about her career highlights so far, she told Stylist magazine: ''Being part of Italian Vogue's all-black issue in 2008 [was a highlight]. It was the first time I'd shot with Steven Meisel, who is incredible.

''The Olympics closing ceremony [held in London in 2012] was another moment where I had to pinch myself.''

As one of the top black models today, Jourdan grew up idolising Naomi Campbell, Iman and Tyra Banks, and says they have all been ''supportive'' of her career.

She said: ''My earliest memory is being inspired by seeing women like Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks being so successful. They both have a great work ethic and have been very supportive of me.''
