Rockers Journey have postponed a series of upcoming shows to allow Filipino frontman Arnel Pineda more time to recover from throat problems.

The Don't Stop Believin' hitmakers were due to take the stage in Evansville, Indiana on Thursday night (08Nov12), but they have now pulled out of all concerts until next week (begs12Nov12) after Pineda was diagnosed with severe laryngeal and esophageal inflammation.

A total of five gigs have been affected, but each date will be rescheduled for early next year (13).

The group plans to resume its tour at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 16 November (12).

This is the third time the Grammy winners have been forced to cancel a show over the last few weeks - their concert in Lafayette, Louisiana on 17 October (12) was postponed as Pineda struggled with voice issues and their performance at the Barclays Center in New York City was axed on 30 October (12) due to Hurricane Sandy.
