Dame Judi Dench and Helena Bonham Carter have been immortalised in stone busts by British fashion designer Nicole Farhi.
Farhi launched her From the Neck Up exhibition, which features sculptures of her celebrity friends, at a gallery in London on Monday (15Sept14) and both Dench and Carter were on hand to inspect the statuettes.
Speaking to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, Farhi says of the show, "This is a new experience and I feel entirely naked and alone to face the reaction of the public... Judi Dench was the easiest woman to sculpt. I saw the young woman she was and still is through her smile."
Other sculpted stars in the show include actor Bill Nighy, U.S. Vogue editor Anna Wintour, playwright Tom Stoppard and artists Lucian Freud and Francis Bacon.
