Lady GaGa has become friends with British soap opera star June Brown.

The 'Applause' hitmaker and the 86-year-old actress - who plays busy-body Dot Cotton in BBC One soap 'EastEnders' - have struck up a bond after hitting it off while filming their guest appearances on 'The Graham Norton show'.

June was on the programme promoting her new autobiography, 'Before The Year Dot', but after consuming a few too many glasses of wine the audience struggled to understand her rambles.

The 27-year-old singer - who was advertising her new album 'ARTPOP' - could see the difficulties the viewers were having and jumped to June's defence, saying: ''We talk the same language. I understand you.''

The soap favourite then complained that her dress kept falling down because she's lost too much weight, so Gaga shot up and adjusted her frock, before telling her new friend: ''I wish I could take you home.''

To which June replied: ''Well, you can if you want.''

'The Graham Norton Show' will air on November 8.
