An online campaign has been set up urging Justin Bieber to visit a fan who missed a meeting with the singer after a car accident left her fighting for her life.
Kate O'Neill, 19, spent 18 months saving up to purchase a meet-and-greet session with the Baby star at one of his shows in Melbourne, Australia this month (Dec13), but she missed out after a nasty crash left her with four broken ribs, a fractured spine and internal bleeding.
A group of her friends went to the session and took a picture with Bieber holding up a photograph of O'Neill, and now they have started up a web campaign in a bid to convince the star to visit the hospital where she is recovering.
The tag, "#justinmeetkate" became a trending topic on Twitter.com, and the singer acknowledged the campaign by posting a link to a news story about the teenager in a message on the social networking website, adding, "Special girl. Been hearing a lot about her. Hmmm."
