Justin Bieber was offered a free lift to The O2 arena in London tonight (05.03.13) to ensure his concert started on time.

The 'Beauty And A Beat' singer - who was forced to apologise for disappointing thousands of young fans after ''technical issues'' delayed his concert by two hours on Monday night (04.03.13) - was offered a complimentary ride by taxi-ordering app GetTaxi, who sent a black cab to wait outside the five star-Langham Hotel for him from 3pm with the engine running to make sure he arrived at the venue on time.

The 'Boyfriend' singer caused uproar as fans waited nearly two hours for him to begin his 'Believe' concert, but the pop star has claimed the delay was out of his control due to unidentified problems and insisted he was only 40 minutes late for his performance.

Justin wrote on his Twitter account: ''Since I have been here it hasn't been easy with the press at times but I have loved it. So let me say this ... last night I was scheduled after 3 opening acts to go on stage at 935 not 830 but because of some technical issues I got on at 10:10... so I was 40 min late to stage. There is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was great show and I'm proud of that. (sic)''

The 19-year-old singer went on to apologise to his fans and claimed reports about his lateness were ''exaggerated''.
