Justin Bieber's lawyers have reportedly asked that his videotaped deposition in a case against a photographer who is suing him be kept private.
Justin Bieber wants his deposition in a legal battle with a photographer to be kept secret.
The 'Believe' hitmaker is being sued by Jeffrey Binion, who claims one of the star's minders choked him and stole his camera equipment in June, and is to be quizzed by the paparazzo's lawyer next week in a videotaped session.
However, according to TMZ, Justin's lawyers have asked for the footage to be kept under lock and key, with the documents stating they feel ''it is highly likely that the entire deposition will be published to the public.''
They are said to be concerned the questioning will include lots of topics unrelated to the case, and are also requesting no copies be made of the recording.
In addition, the 19-year-old star's team want to pick the videographer themselves.
It has been claimed Justin ordered his bodyguard to seize Jeffrey's memory card after he tried to snap a candid picture of the teen heartthrob leaving a recording studio.
Binion is suing both the pop star and his bodyguard, saying he suffered bodily injury, pain and suffering, mental anguish and incurred medical expenses following the incident.
His lawyer said recently: ''Justin Bieber is now an adult, and he should act like one. He needs to learn that he cannot use bodyguards as weapons to harm innocent people. Bieber's violent behaviour toward photographers must end, and he should take responsibility for his actions.''
''No amount of fame or fortune justifies Bieber's shameful and outrageous conduct. To send him that message and deter his misbehaviour in the future, we will seek punitive damages against him as allowed by Florida law.''
