Soul man R. Kelly has confirmed reports suggesting he and Justin Bieber have teamed up to record a new track.
In a new interview with Vibe magazine, the I Believe I Can Fly hitmaker revealed the new song he wrote for the teen pop star will be released next week (beg18Nov13).
He says, "I just did a song (with him). (Justin) just called me to do a song and it's hot. He wanted to go and do some R&B stuff, so we got together and did that."
News of the unlikely collaboration started circulating at the beginning of the month (Nov13) after Bieber sent a tweet to Kelly that read: "They aren't ready".
Kelly is very much in vogue at the moment after recording new lyrics for a sexually-charged new version of Bruno Mars' Gorilla and appearing on Lady Gaga's Artpop song Do What U Want.
