Justin Timberlake got to fulfil a lot of his "boyhood fantasies" in his new film.

The singer-and-actor plays Will Salas in sci-fi thriller 'In Time' and really enjoyed filming the action scenes as it's something he's always wanted to do.

He told newspaper USA Today: "This action-hero thing, I don't know if I'm buying it. This is not John Rambo. My character has his back against the wall, and he's street-smart. But there were a lot of boyhood fantasies here."

However, Justin - who stars in the movie alongside Amanda Seyfried - admits shooting one fighting scene caused a serious calf injury.

He said: "I felt like someone shot me in the leg, and it looks like in the scene I'm hobbling because I'm pulling (a hostage), but it's because I'm on one leg.

"When they yelled 'cut' I actually fell down. But we got a great take out of it."

The movie's stunt coordinator David Leitch was very impressed by a fight scene, which showcased Justin's natural co-ordination.

He said: "There are no camera tricks there. That's pure Justin. The way he did it was really cool."
