Justin Timberlake, the multi-million selling pop star turned Hollywood actor, says he smokes pot to turn off his brain. Justin Timberlake, who has often talked openly about his drug use, says he is "absolutely" still a user of marijuana.
During an interview with Playboy Magazine, the interviewer asked Timberlake whether he still considered himself a pot smoker, to which the singer replied, "Absolutely". When quizzed on speculation he was stoned throughout the recording of hit album 'Justified', Timberlake said, "The only thing pot does for me is it gets me to stop thinking. Sometimes I have a brain that needs to be turned off. Some people are just better high". The superstar entertainer, who recently starred in David Fincher's 'The Social Network', was reminded of the time he was 'Punk'd' by Ashton Kutcher on the very first episode of the prank reality show. Timberlake confirmed he was high on drugs at the time, saying, "I actually stopped smoking pot for nine to 10 months after that. I was so stoned. If you ask my friends, if they're honest they would probably say that's the only way to get me as dizzy as I was".
Justin Timberlake is currently shooting the sci-fi movie 'In Time', with Amanda Seyfried and Cillian Murphy. The film focuses on a future society in which people pay for luxuries and necessities with 'time' instead of currency. He is currently starring alongside Cameron Diaz in the comedy 'Bad Teacher'.
