An emotional Justin Timberlake made a full apology for his ill judged SUPER BOWL half-time shocker at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles last night (08FEB04).

The singer, dressed in a suit and tie, mentioned the breast-baring controversy with Janet Jackson when he took to the stage to pick up his Best Male Pop Vocal Performance honour for his JUSTIFIED album.

He told the Staples Center audience, "I know it's been a rough week on everybody. What occurred was unintentional, completely regrettable and I apologise if you guys were offended."

He admitted he was relieved to end a tough week with a dream come true.

Timberlake added, "This has been a dream of mine. I don't know what to say. This is officially the greatest moment of my life."

The 'N SYNC star also performed at the event, but it was a much safer duet with jazz great ARTURO SANDOVAL than the one he performed with Janet Jackson.
