Pop prince Justin Timberlake will perform a concert at Elvis Presley's birthplace to mark the 50th anniversary of rock'n'roll.

The gig at Tennessee's old MEMPHIS RECORDING SERVICE studios on 5 July (04) will take place on the anniversary of the day Elvis recorded THAT'S ALL RIGHT, MAMA.

Justin, who was born in the city, will be joined by host BILLY BOB THORNTON.

The president of the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau KEVIN KANE says, "We are thrilled that Justin is coming home to join us as we celebrate this musical milestone.

"He is already a world-renowned artist, and his work continues to extend Memphis' musical influence to the next generation."

Radio stations around the world are also being encouraged to mark the event by playing the song at exactly 11am US central time on 5 July for a 'global moment in time'.
