Hip-hop star Kanye West had to hold his tongue when British royals PRINCES WILLIAM and HARRY started discussing 'bling' with him. West has publicly denounced the term, declaring, "Only white people and older black people say 'bling' now. If a white person uses slang too early, then that makes them look like a wigger. But if black people use slang too late, then it makes them look like a wigger." However, when he met the two princes at the Concert For Diana in London last month (Jul07), West couldn't bring himself to tell the royals that 'bling' was no longer cool. He says, "One of them said, 'I thought those glasses were bling,' and the other one said, 'It's Kanye West, they'd have to be bling.' "I didn't have the heart to tell them that I'm the anti-bling."
