Kanye West has beaten chart rival Drake to the top of Entertainment Weekly's end-of-year best albums poll.

West's Yeezus has landed the number one spot ahead of Drake's Nothing Was the Same, while Miley Cyrus' Bangerz places third and breakout country singer Kacey Musgraves' Same Trailer Different Park is fourth.

Daft Punk's Get Lucky has been named the publication's Best Single of 2013, beating out Lorde's Royals and The Wire by Haim.
