Rapper Kanye West is sporting a new tattoo tribute to his mother and daughter on his wrists after his wife Kim Kardashian begged him not to get the etching on his face.
The Stronger hitmaker headed to London's Sang Bleu tattoo studio in the early hours of Friday morning (27Feb15) to permanently inscribe his late mother Donda and daughter North West's birth dates on his body.
Images obtained by Wenn show West flicking through a book at the tattoo parlour in Hackney as he waits to go under the needle, while Kardashian sits beside him.
The reality Tv star has since revealed the rapper wanted to get the inking on his face and she even shared an image showing a temporary tattoo template on West's hairline.
However, West eventually settled for ink tributes on his wrists after Kardashian refused to let her husband tattoo the Roman numerals on his face.
In a series of posts on Instagram.com, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, writes, "Four in the mornin' and he's zonin'... I talked him out of getting a face tattoo....for now... He got it on his wrists instead... His mothers' birthdate and North's birthdate in Roman numerals."
