Kanye West may revive his fashion label.

The 'New Slaves' hitmaker released his debut womenswear collection, DW by Kanye West, in 2011 to scathing reviews, but now looks set to make a fashion comeback with a unisex spring/summer 2014 line.

The 36-year-old rapper reportedly spent a week in Milan working on a new collection with the help of Diesel's artistic director, Nicola Formichetti.

According to Vogue, the collection will comprise of 100 unisex pieces to be unveiled during the September shows.

The revival could be third time lucky for Kanye - who closed his fashion label in March 2012 - after showing at Paris Fashion Week for two seasons.

Reminiscing about his fashion endeavours, Kanye recently said: ''The first collection was way better than the second, it was more artful. It was 30 collections in one.

''It just takes time for me to slow down and think like a normal person. I have to somehow put out something that says, 'I look sensible!' ''

It remains to be seen whether the collection will materialise since a spokesperson for Kanye declined to comment on the speculation.

Meanwhile, the musician recently collaborated with French label APC on a capsule menswear collection, which sold out within hours of being made available online.
