Kanye West has reportedly collaborated with Skrillex and Odd Future on his new album.
The rapper boasts the dubstep producer and members of the rap collective among a huge roll call of guest stars on his sixth studio album, according to Rolling Stone magazine.
Kanye reportedly worked on the record in secret, recording in Paris' Le Meurice hotel, and is believed to be ready to release it next month after he tweeted ''June Eighteen'' last week.
Longtime collaborator John Legend, who worked with Kanye in Paris, said: ''His only goal in this whole thing is to make something beautiful - that's his North Star.
''From a very early point, back in 2001, Kanye believed that he had something that the world needed to hear. A lot about him has stayed the same.''
Kanye, 35, has previewed the album to record company executives in New York, who described it a sounding ''dark, but really good''.
French electro duo Daft Punk also worked with the 'Stronger' star on two tracks for his new record, on which he adopted an unusual vocal style.
The group's Thomas Bangalter said: ''It was very raw: he was rapping - kind of screaming primally, actually.''
