Karl Lagerfeld has created a capsule collection to coincide with the opening of his flagship London store.

The designer is gearing up to open the luxury Regent Street boutique on March 13 and is hoping to reel in British fans with a ready-to-wear line available to purchase in the 2,700 square-foot store.

The clothes draw on quintessentially English inspirations, such as a jumper emblazoned with a Union Jack flag, pieces influenced by traditional UK military clothing and distressed jeans perfect for London's rocker aesthetic.

The accessories are bound to be a sure-fire hit with items including fingerless gloves similar to the ones the Chanel mogul wears himself, a Choupette cat keyring and a limited-edition Lagerfeld tokidoki doll.

Pier Paolo Righi, Karl Lagerfeld CEO, previously told WWD: ''Opening on Regent Street provides us with an exceptional opportunity to position our brand in this important market. London is one of the world's leading cities when it comes to retail, and this location offers a unique brand mix.

''Our London presence will be a fantastic representation of our brand's aesthetic, and it showcases our cool, accessible-luxe collections in a cutting-edge environment.''

The capsule collection is available in boutiques throughout Asia and Europe.
