Kasabian never write songs while on tour.
The band's main songwriter, Serge Pizzorno, prefers to be alone when he writes the band's material, but uses his time on the road to ''gather information,'' for future compositions.
He said: ''I've always had a studio In The Bedroom. It's just me sat with a guitar, a synth or in front of a computer.''
''I never write on the road. I just gather information when I'm out; I let it all out when I'm at home.''
Kasabian - which also includes Tom Meighan, Chris Edwards,
Ian Matthews and Jay Mehler - scored a huge hit around the world with 'Fire' in 2009, which Serge was surprised by as he doesn't feel was a typical song, but he can't wait to change the band's sound again when he starts work on their fifth album.
He added: '''Fire' was a huge single all over the world, but when you listen to it, it's mental. It's not a pop single. It's this weird, psychedelic, huge electro song. That was the intention.
''The next record I can't wait to do. I want people to go, 'What's this?' It's an important thing for us. A lot of people might hate it, there's no middle with us, we split people in the middle. People have an opinion - pure hatred or Pure Love. That's the best art.''
Kasabian are currently on tour, playing festivals across Europe.
