Love magazine editor in chief Katie Grand has revealed she finds Kendall Jenner's transition from reality TV star to high fashion model ''fascinating'' and has enjoyed watching her evolve from a ''shy teenager'' to ''supermodel''.
Katie Grand is fascinated by Kendall Jenner.
The Love magazine editor-in-chief and Marc Jacobs creative director admitted she has enjoyed watching Kendall's transition from a ''shy teenager'' to ''supermodel'' and insists the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star's fame hasn't gone to her head.
She said: ''I've worked with Kendall for a year now. It's been fascinating to see the transformation from the shy teenager sitting in the Marc Jacobs reception to the supermodel she is today.
''She's still the same, punctual, friendly, hardworking girl - just much, much more famous within the fashion world.''
The stylist - who has worked with legendary supermodels Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell in the past - is shocked by just how famous Kendall has become and was forced to have the Marc Jacobs studios fitted with blinds to avoid the prying eyes of the paparazzi while they worked on her looks for the A/W 2015 show ahead of New York Fashion Week last month.
She told Style.com: ''This season, at Marc, we had to make sure her fitting was done in a room with blinds, as the paparazzi had camped out on the roof opposite the studio to try and get a shot of her.
''In all my years being a stylist and working with the likes of Kate and Naomi, I have never known the paps to try and get a shot of a fitting with a long lens from across the street.''
Katie added that the brunette beauty is perfect for the brand due to her ''chic'' and ''sophisticated'' look.
She said: ''We work with her at Marc because she looks great, she looks good in the clothes, and she is sophisticated and chic.
''Her very dark lip and dark hair looked so striking against the yellow of her pretty yellow floral dress.''
