Dame Helen Mirren was ''insulted'' her iCloud account wasn't hacked.

The 69-year-old actress joked that she was offended that hackers - who stole and published nude photos of celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton - didn't target her account as well.

She told The Sun: ''I was rather insulted my phone wasn't hacked, actually. I kept desperately looking at the list of people whose phones were hacked, hoping to see my name.

''You weren't anybody if your phone hadn't been hacked. Who on earth would put nude photos of themselves on their phones anyway? That I don't quite get.''

Speaking in an interview to be broadcast on Magic FM on Sunday (07.09.2014) at 7pm, 'The Hundred-Foot Journey' actress added that the actions of the anonymous hackers were ''cowardly and pathetic''.

She said: ''It's horrifying. The whole concept of privacy has gone. It's incredibly offensive and intrusive, insulting and stupid, and infantile to hack women's phones.

''Mind you, who on earth would put nude photos of themselves on their phones anyway. That I don't quite get. It's like why? I don't get that at all.

''We're still learning the parameters of what to do and what not to do with your phones and your internet and your email. I think slowly the penny is dropping that there are certain things you just do not do on your computer or your phone.''
