Katherine Heigl has paid tribute to a Hollywood costume designer who died from a brain aneurysm during the production of her new movie ONE FOR THE MONEY.
Michael Dennison collapsed on 31 August (10) while working in the film's production office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He was rushed to UPMC Mercy hospital but died two days later, on 2 September (10).
Leading the tributes to Dennison, Heigl says in a statement, "It was an honour and a privilege to work with Michael. I am heartbroken by his sudden passing as is everyone here on the film."
Dennison, 58, enjoyed a career spanning three decades and most recently worked on Julia Roberts' movie Eat Pray Love and the upcoming Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
He also created costumes for Denzel Washington's biblical thriller The Book of Eli, 2008's W and horror The Eye, and was nominated for an Emmy Award this year (10) for his work on TV movie Georgia O'Keeffe.
