Katie Holmes is set to star alongside Adam Sandler in the comedy movie 'Jack and Jill', according to The Hollywood Reporter. Holmes - the star of 'Batman Begins' - looks set to join the cast of the film, which sees Sandler play two of the lead roles, and Al Pacino playing himself. Directed by Dennis Dugan - who was also behind the camera for Sandler's movie 'You Don't Mess With the Zohan' - 'Jack and Jill' centres around a family man named Jack whose twin sister pays him a holiday visit, but refuses to leave. Holmes is reportedly set to play the role of Jack's wife.
If the reports are correct, it would arguably be Holmes' biggest role since 2005s 'Batman Begins' however she did make an appearance in 'The Extra Man' this year, as well as in the 2008 indie film 'Mad Money'.
In 2005, Holmes began a highly publicised relationship with 'Mission Impossible' star Tom Cruise, and in 2006 Holmes gave birth to the couple's daughter, Suri - the pair married later that year.
