Katy Perry 's ex-husband Russell Brand doesn't appear to be getting much support in the wake of the couple's divorce. The superstar singer is back in the headlines for all the right reasons - with 5,000 turning up for the premiere of her new movie 'Part of Me' - and it seems one of her fans is only too happy to stick the knife in.
Close to the scene of Perry's huge premiere this week, a huge billboard for Brand's new late night talk show 'Brand X' looms over the traffic. However, it seems some clever vandal has left their own spray-painted diss, concerning Brand's recent split from Perry. The billboard features the British comedian sitting down while holding a trophy. Above it reads, "Late Night Rebranded", while underneath it reads, "I'd rather watch the Katy Perry movie". We probably don't need to explain which part of the Billboard was vandalized. Much of the singer's 3-D film 'Part of Me' concerns her breakup from the comedian, with Perry often caught crying backstage. When asked by the Herald Sun whether she thinks it's possible to juggle her career with a relationship, she explained, "The answer is always changing for me, you know, because every day is kind of a bit of a surprise. Sometimes it's a great opportunity, sometimes it's a situation I have to deal with. So I don't know. I still believe in love, most definitely. I'm just going to let that take the lead".
'Katy Perry: Part of Me' hits cinemas worldwide on July 5, 2012. Despite being a musical documentary, it's likely to reach the upper tiers of the box-office.
