Katy Perry showed off her ingenious new cell phone holder while riding her bike around L.A.'s 'Venice Beach' on Independence Day this week. The 'Firework' singer peddled around in the sunshine, with her cell phone neatly tucked away in her cleavage, reports the New York Daily News.
A smiling Perry, 27, took her bicycle for a spin around the neighbourhood in the sunshine, also tying the sweater around her waist and donning a pair of retro sunglasses. She was joined by numerous friends, who rode their bikes around as a group, before stopping at a couple of stores. Later, the 'California Girl' switched into a more patriotic outfit for the Fourth of July celebrations, proudly sporting red, white and blue garb to attend an Independence Day bash in Santa Monica. The singer reportedly partied until the early hours with the likes of Lindsay Lohan at the Shore Bar.
It's certainly been a busy couple of weeks for the singer, who was in London earlier this week promoting her new movie 'Katy Perry: Part of Me'. The film hits cinemas this weekend, documenting her sold out tour from 2011 though also briefly detailing her breakup from British comedian Russell Brand. He had reportedly asked to be edited out of the film, though producers were keen to keep the material in.
