Keanu: 'Fighting Is Getting Harder'
Keanu Reeves is finding that action movies are taking their toll on him physically as he hits middle-age.
The MATRIX star, 40, has incurred dramatic injuries whilst filming fight scenes, and admits that tussling on screen isn't getting any easier.
He recalls his worst injury, "I was filming The Replacements and ran into someone, and I got a 'stinger': where your neck compresses and you lose the use of your arms.
"There was a lot of concern. I had to go straight to the hospital. They gave me the good stuff, (strong painkillers) before sending me home with some more of the good stuff, plus ice and heat packs.
"All this fighting and stuff is taking its toll on the body. It's getting harder, man."10/03/2005 21:33
