Keira Knightley has been spotted wearing the engagement ring bought for her by new fiance James Righton, leading many of us here at Contactmusic to question just how much in royalties one can really get from repeated plays of 'Gravity's Rainbow' on UK channel E4. Quite a bit evidently, judging by the classy number adorning Knightley's wedding ring finger.
E! Online reports that the pair were out in London at the weekend looking suitably loved up, with the Hollywood actress looking proud with the new rock on her hand. The ring was simple but effective in design, with a diamond sparkler set amidst a gold band. Surprising taste from a man who once claimed that his band the Klaxons work was influenced by magical shamen. The pair looked very much in love on their afternoon stroll, and for that we applaud them; they announced their engagement after 15 months of dating, started after Knightley had ended a five year long relationship with Rupert Friend.
It seems that the pair are more than content to be snapped together in public, though it's worth pointing out that for all their openness they've not yet stepped out together at an official event, although we've no doubt that the invitations are already flying out to the couple ahead of the next awards season at the beginning of 2013.
