Legendary rocker Keith Richards was overwhelmed by the positive response to his autobiography, insisting even his records "don't get such good reviews".
The Rolling Stones veteran released his tell-all tome Life last year (10) and the revelations in the candid memoirs hit headlines across the world. In the book, Richards famously likened his bandmate Sir Mick Jagger to an annoying mynah bird and suggested he has a small penis.
The rocker has now admitted he was stunned by the positive feedback the book received from both critics and fans, telling the Los Angeles Times, "I was blown away, actually. I don't know what I expected, but what we heard back was so strong,.
"There were really good reviews from some really hard critics too, and I was amazed that we were able to get the story across to people and to those critics and they all mostly liked it. I mean, my records don't get such good reviews."
