Kelly Rowland is worried she will get a British accent like Madonna if she stays in the UK too long.

The 'Motivation' hitmaker is currently residing in Britain while she works as a judge on 'The X Factor' and is concerned she may end up sounding like the 'Hung Up' singer - who developed a transatlantic accent when she was living in the country with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie - because of all the time she is spending in Europe.

She told BANG Showbiz: "If I went back to the States and I took some these accent moments with me, my friends would cut me down!

"They'd be like, 'Oh, Madonna, really?!' Like they would go in on me and I love Madonna, but yeah. I would need to be over here for years in order to get a British accent, not a couple of months."

The former Destiny's Child star - who is about to release the international version of her album 'Here I Am' on November 28 - is enjoying her time in Britain, and has discovered several new artists since touching down in London.

She added: "Right now I love Emeli Sande, Chase and Status, Labrinth and of course Tinie Tempah who I've collaborated with. And it goes without saying, Adele."
