Kelsey Grammer is already feeling the stress of living in New York after spending his days tirelessly searching for the perfect pad ahead of his upcoming Broadway return.
The former Frasier star is leaving his Malibu, California home behind to relocate to the East Coast after signing on to star in a revival of 1983 musical comedy La Cage Aux Folles, in which he will play Georges, the owner of a nightclub.
But Grammer admits he's already exhausted from the hours spent house-hunting for the ideal home in preparation for his first Broadway show in 10 years.
In a post on his Twitter.com page, the funnyman writes: "Just going to bed after a long day hunting for apt's (apartments) here in NY (New York) real late. Good night all, take care."
La Cage Aux Folles is scheduled to open on 18 April (10).
Grammer last appeared on the New York stage in Shakespeare classic MACbeth in 2000.
