Jamie Lynn Spears has praised her superstar sister Britney Spears' parenting skills - insisting the singer has become "best friends" with ex-husband Kevin Federline for the sake of their kids.
Spears and Federline married in 2004 after a whirlwind romance, and went on to have two sons together; Sean Preston, three, and two-year-old Jayden James.
But the romance didn't last and the pair divorced in 2007. Federline was subsequently granted sole physical custody of the tots but now shares care of the boys with his ex-wife.
And despite rumours the former couple had clashed over Spears' plans to take the kids on her current Circus world tour, the star's sister insists the reports couldn't be further from the truth.
Jamie Lynn tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "Kevin has been great, as always. He and Britney have become best friends. She knows how much he cares about the boys and he knows the same is true of her."
