Kim Cattrall made an emotional return to her hometown of Liverpool, England to scatter her father's ashes near the stadium of his beloved soccer team.
The Sex And The City actress' parents, Gladys and Dennis, left the English city when Kim was just three months old and emigrated to Canada.
Cattrall has often returned to her hometown, and has spoken of her love of Liverpool, and she headed back on Tuesday (27Mar12) to leave the ashes of her dad, who passed away in January (12).
She paid her respects to her father at a memorial service at the Holy Trinity Church in Wavertree, before scattering his ashes at Anfield cemetery, near to his favourite soccer club, Liverpool FC.
The star and her family then headed to The Exchange bar to toast her father's memory.
The bar's owner Richy Owen tells the Liverpool Echo newspaper, "It was an emotional return to Liverpool after her father passed away in January this year. She loves Liverpool and she was back to spread her father's ashes in Anfield as was the wish.
"The cemetery is overlooked by The Kop (fan stand) at Anfield (Liverpool FC ground), which was fitting because he was a massive Reds (Liverpool) fan.
"Kim and her family then called in at The Exchange on the way back and had a quiet drink with her cousin on Tuesday."
