The Deal twins have been concentrating on their work with the U.S. band since Kim quit as bassist of The Pixies in 2013, and they have been recording in a studio with famed producer Steve Albini, who helmed two earlier Breeders releases.

The new disc will be the band's first album since 2008's Mountain Battles but they are already experiencing problems in the studio as the Deal twins and bassist Josephine Wiggs are struggling to agree on what tracks to lay down.

Kim Deal tells NME magazine, "If we can get the songs together (we will release an album)... Josephine doesn't like one of them. Kelley actually doesn't really like that one either... I don't know."
