Kim Kardashian was ''completely destroyed'' by criticisms about her weight.

The 33-year-old reality TV star admits the constant jibes about her piling on the pounds during her pregnancy earlier this year ruined her confidence, but she's not in a rush to lose her post-baby weight following the birth of her daughter North in June.

Speaking to The Times newspaper, she said: ''I haven't exercised a whole lot so far, just because I've been busy with the baby and I don't want to leave her.

''I still have some [baby weight] to go. Atkins worked for me and I don't feel tempted to eat a bunch of junk food. It's just about staying healthy - it will come off.''

Kim - who has reportedly lost 25lbs in three months on the Atkins diet - admits her boyfriend Kanye West has encouraged her to feel good about herself regardless of her body shape or weight.

She explained: ''You want your guy to think you're really hot. I'll put something on and he'll say, 'No, that doesn't look good', and I'll trust him.'''

The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star - who is bringing out her own children's clothing line - enjoys dressing her tiny tot in cute outfits and she admits it's allowed her to change up her style too.

She said: ''I want to dress a little lighter colour-wise. I think North looks cute in light colors, and then I want to wear light colours. North doesn't typically wear pink, though. She wears mauve or blush, not, like, typical baby pink.''
