Another week, another verbal attack on Kim Kardashian. This time it was the turn of American shock-jockey Howard Stern to fling the muck at the socialite and reality star, accusing her of avoiding questions about her personal life - which, to be fair, is exactly what she has been doing.
Normally such an open attack might be greeted with some sympathy towards the star in questions; celebrities don't necessarily become famous because they want the world to know all about the ins and outs of their lives. Yet that's exactly how Kardashian got famous, and now she's been fending off questions about her rumored relationship with rapper Kanye West with more than a little defensiveness. "This is the girl who got famous revealing everything about her personal life," Stern pointed out, according to the New York Daily News, continuing "Now ... she thinks she's Jennifer Aniston. 'I don't want to talk about Kanye, I don't want to speak about it, I don't read the tabloids, everyone back off.'"
Kardashian had been interviewed on TV earlier in the week and replied to a question about West with the answer "I completely respect and understand that you have to ask these questions, but as I've said before, Kanye and I have been friends for years. You know, you never know what the future holds or where my life will take me." Stern was unconvinced though, ranting "The second her show gets a dip in the ratings ... she'll have Kanye in his underwear, dancing on her show. I mean, come on already, stop the nonsense."
