Kim Kardashian 's wedding this weekend prompted 22 calls to the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Office from neighbours unhappy about the loud music and helicopters overhead.
The extravagant party was thrown to celebrate her marriage to Nba star Kris Humphries. Officer Drew Sugars told the Associated Press that the ceremony was attended by seven deputies who were hired to provide additional security at the private estate in Montecito, California. However, despite the complaints no citations were issued and no arrests were made. The reception included several celebrity friends including actress Eva Longoria tennis stars Venus Williams and Serena Williams, singer Mel B as well as fashion designer Vera Wang, who also designed the wedding gown. The full events of the nuptials are set to be showcased in a two part special entitled; 'Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event' that will air on Sunday 9th October and Monday 10th October. The show is a behind-the-scenes look at the wedding, including the planning, the hen and stag parties and the special day itself.
The socialite and her new husband reportedly left Los Angeles' Lax airport for their honeymoon in Capri, Italy following their nuptials on Saturday. However, the couple will be back in the US by the weekend, as Kim is presenting at the 2011 Mtv Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.
