A new Kings Of Leon documentary shows Nathan Followill confronting his bandmate brother Caleb about his drinking problem and telling the singer, "Your band cannot stand you!"
The Sex on Fire hitmakers' rise to fame is documented in new film Talihina Sky: The Story of Kings of Leon, which features rare footage of them on the road.
The movie also shows frontman Caleb turning to alcohol and drugs as he struggles to cope with their success, as well as his older brother Nathan's anger over his substance abuse.
In one scene on the tourbus, the drummer shouts at Caleb, "You get so f**king drunk and talk s**t. Your band cannot stand you. You have got to get your f**king self together! We have made you, you piece of s**t!
"You've got to realise how much you are talking s**t to people who love you the most and made you who you are!"
The bust-up prompted Caleb to turn his life around, but the rocker admits he doesn't regret his darker days.
He says, "Now I'm living a lot better. I went out and I tried it. I'd rather have done it then than get to 50 and do it. I don't feel the need to do drugs and this and that now but I'm glad I did it all."
