Kiss - Kiss Stars Rejected Make-up Plan For Football Team
Veteran rockers Kiss rejected a plan to make members of their football team wear the band's signature face-paint.
Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley launched their own Arena Football League team called the L.A. Kiss last year (13) and the club played its first season in 2014.
The team uses the band's logo, and Simmons has now revealed they rejected a proposal to deck out the players in Kiss' iconic black and white face-paint.
He says, "There are some pragmatic reasons why our great athletes should not be wearing the Kiss make-up. For one thing, you've got to earn it. Secondly, it's got to be real football, not stuff going into everybody's eyes while they are running on the field and getting tackled. Not a good idea."
The stars' involvement in the running of the team is documented in a new Tv show titled 4th and Loud.
